PVC edgings are produced from a thermoplastic material named Polyvinyl Chloride.
PVC is a solid and robust material with high dimensional stability, which is highly resistant to the impact and abrasion, chemicals and UV light, ensuring long tool life and easy machining.
All PROADEC PVC printed edgings are produced using an environment-friendly, VOC free, UV paint technology with excellent UV and scratch resistance.
PROADEC edgings are free of plasticisers and lead. All raw materials used in our production process are of controlled origins and of certified quality being extensively controlled by specific testing procedures, based on the REACH program and according to our own internal strict specifications.

ProFlex

Thick edging

Available in thicknesses ranging from 1,3 mm up to 2 mm.

Available in plain colours, woodgrains and fantasies, in a variety of surface finishes.

Possible to slit in various widths from jumbo rolls.

ProThick

Thick edging co-extruded

Thick edging that bonds solidly to the substrate giving a softer more up-market appearance to all furniture applications, with greater physical resistance.

Thicknesses ranging from 1,5 mm up to 3 mm.

Produced in "edge by edge” extruders, in the final width required up to 45 mm.
Not available in jumbo rolls.

Smooth surface with a high gloss level between 75º and 85º, obtained during the extrusion process and without lacquer.

PAINTABLE

Thick edging

Paintable is an edging specially designed to work out as a base to support painting, lacquering or gluing.

The main technical feature is a homogeneous adhesive primer coating applied on the surface of the edging, giving it the ideal adhesive properties to receive the final work. After the edging processing and before the painting/lacquering, the edging should be gently cleaned in order to remove any contamination (hands moisture, for example).

Thicknesses from 0,40mm up to 2mm.

Possible to slit in various widths from jumbo rolls.

Available in plain colours.

Pre-Glued

Proadec edgings are also available pre-glued.

Pre-gluing edgings have adhesive applied to the back of the edging. The advantage of these edgings is that they can be applied either manually with a home heating system (iron, dryer) or with a professional machine specially designed for this type of process (C-25).

Do not require adhesive application, once it is already applied.
